Māmaki is a native Hawaiian plant in the nettle family. Māmaki has been popular for centuries here in Hawaii and it is a delicious caffeine-free herbal tea. Our māmaki tea is grown using organic and sustainable farming practices at our Maui Tea Farm on the slopes of the dormant Haleakalā Volcano in upcountry Maui, Hawaii.
Due to Maui’s wildfires that started onAugust 8, 2023, nearly our entire Māmaki harvest and plants were decimated, severely impacting our business. We are offering Māmaki lovers a chance to place pre-orders now for our Spring and Summer 2024 harvests as we work to rebuild our Māmaki nursery and replant in our fields. It takes about 9 months from field planting time for a Māmaki plant to be harvestable sustainably.
